Protealis’ privacy policy
This privacy policy (the “Policy”) addresses how we handle and protect personal data collected via the Protealis website. We strongly recommend that you read this privacy policy and, if you have any questions, contact us on info@protealis.com.

“Protealis” or “we” means Protealis NV, a Belgian company with registered office at Technologiepark-Zwijnaarde 94, 9052 Ghent, Belgium.
As data controller we respect your right to privacy. What data do we collect?
Protealis is responsible for the processing of your personal data and may collect and process the following personal data about you.
When you access the site, the servers consulted will automatically collect the following personal data:

- the date and time you have accessed the website
- the platform and/or operating system installed on your computer
- the search engine and key words used to find the website
These personal data are processed and kept for the sole purpose of measuring the number of visitors to the different sections of the website and to make improvements to our website.
When subscribing to the Protealis news releases through the contact form on our website, it may well be that we obtain your email address, your first and last name and some other limited personal data (your organization) that you give when completing the contact forms. Furthermore, we may process personal data that are publicly available about you or that we lawfully obtain from third parties or that we obtain during a personal meeting or conversation with you.
Why do we collect your data?

Whilst we take all reasonable measures to ensure confidentiality of your personal data, you acknowledge that a transmission of personal data via the Internet is never without risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hence agree that any possible direct or indirect damage that you would suffer following an illegal or wrongful use of your personal data by third parties who do not have authorization to do so, can never be allocated to nor recovered from us.
